About Hamilton Model Car Club

Often the first perception of slot car racing is that of a small group of people, usually children racing on small figure of eight track.

Our club is much more than that.

We race custom tuned cars from highly professional companies who make incredibly detailed 1/32nd models of modern race cars to classic greats of the past. models we race range from the relatively box standard cars of the well known brand scalextric to the ultra fast highly modified slot.it cars in which every aspect can be adjusted

We designed and built our 95 foot 4 lane track to be an exciting and motivating challenge to new and current members. Racing comes in the form of the fastest time to complete a set number of laps to the number of laps than can be completed in 3 minutes. Nothing comes closer to simulating the thrills of real life motor racing with wheel to wheel racing.

Regarded by many as one of the top clubs in the U.K., we host national championships and special events such as corporate nights out with visitors travelling the length and breadth of the country to visit.

We welcome and all ages and skill levels. Our club provides a friendly and sociable atmosphere catering for all types or member whether it be compeitive racers who love racing, keen modellers/tuners or just those seeking a fun night out.
